The Geissele Automatics® Reaction Rod For AR-10 helps make maintaining and building firearms easier than ever. This reaction rod also helps to prevent marring your upper receiver during the installation of new parts and maintenance. Featuring 4140 chrome moly steel construction, this rod is properly quenched, tempered, and ground to an exact diameter so it will enter your rifle’s upper receiver without wobbling. Designed to make removing and installation of barrels, flash hiders, gas blocks, and handguards easier and simpler, this reaction rod is built to be gripped by a bench vice, so the rod is either horizontal or vertical. Then, you slide the upper receiver onto the rod, and the rod’s integral splines help prevent the barrel extension from turning allowing all the torque from the barrel nut wrench to go directly to your barrel extension during installation.
