Ordering and Shipping
Can I order high-capacity magazines?
GunMag Warehouse only ships high-capacity magazines to states where their sale/transfer is allowed. Check our Shipping Restrictions page for details. Some users may qualify for exemptions.
When will my order ship?
Current processing times are available on our Shipping Policy page. Once processed, your selected shipping method and timeframes will apply.
I received an email stating my address is invalid. What should I do?
Click the link in the email to verify and correct your shipping address. If you’re unable to update it, contact us at [email protected] or call 1-(800) 409-9439.
How do I apply for Colorado excise tax exemption?
Beginning April 1, 2025, Colorado imposed a 6.5% excise tax on firearms, ammunition, and firearm precursor parts. GunMag Warehouse will collect and remit excise tax on the sale price of all items subject to the tax. The excise tax amount is exclusive of the Colorado direct federal tax, sales or use tax, retail delivery fee, or other government tax and fees.
Each invoice issued will specifically identify the amount of Colorado excise tax that has been collected for the taxable items purchased.
Sales to peace officers, law enforcement agencies, and active-duty members of the US Armed Forces are exempt from the tax if the purchaser provides a completed and signed affidavit (see https://tax.colorado.gov/DR7612) along with proper photo identification, as listed in the affidavit, confirming that the purchase qualifies for the exemption.
Order Changes and Issues
Can I modify my order after placing it?
Once an order is placed, we cannot modify quantities or items. If changes are needed, request a cancellation and reorder. To cancel, email [email protected] or call 1-(800) 409-9439.
My order was successfully placed but later canceled. Why?
While rare, orders may be canceled due to:
- Out-of-stock items – Inventory counts may be inaccurate at times.
- Fraud prevention measures – Orders flagged as potential fraud are automatically canceled and refunded. If you believe your order was incorrectly flagged, contact us at [email protected] or 1-(800) 409-9439.
- Check the email address you supplied with your order for more details.
I tried to place an order, but it was declined. What should I do?
If your order is declined, an error message will indicate the issue:
- AVS mismatch – The billing address provided does not match your financial institution’s records. Verify your address and try again.
- Restricted items – Some products are not available for purchase in certain states. Check our Shipping Restrictions page.
- Other errors – Contact [email protected] or call 1-(800) 409-9439 for assistance.
My order is lost or damaged. What should I do?
Please email us at [email protected] with your order information. Please do not start a claim with the shipper as doing so may remove our ability to assist you. If your package is damaged, please include photos in your email to assist us during the claims process. Please retain the damaged package until the entire claims process is completed.
Product Availability and Selection
The item I want is out of stock. What are my options?
We do not accept backorders. However, you can sign up for an email notification when an item is back in stock. Visit the product page and click “Sign up to get notified when this product is back in stock.”
How can I identify the correct magazines for my firearm?
- Verify your firearm’s make and model (usually stamped on the slide or barrel).
- Use our Mag Finder tool on the homepage.
- Contact the firearm manufacturer for compatibility confirmation.

Returns and Refunds
The item I ordered does not work or fit. What should I do?
